Dr. Alexander graduated in 1988 with a medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago. Following this he completed a general surgery internship affiliated with UC San Francisco along with an orthopaedic residency training with the San Francisco Orthopaedic Residency Training Program. More recently, he participated in a sports medicine fellowship in 1994 at San Diego Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine Fellowship Program. 

He began a private practice in 1995 and his current practice, Alexander Orthopaedic Surgery, began in the Temecula Valley area in 1999 where he still practices today. Dr. Alexander prides himself on expedient and excellent care of athletes so they may return to their sport at the highest possible level and at the earliest possible time frame.
